World Series!!
I’m in love with the SF Giants!!
While growing up my brothers has baseball on a lot, and frankly, I thought it was boring to watch on TV.  Don’t get me wrong; I love to play baseball.  I also love to be in the stands and watching it, but listening to it on the radio and watching it on TV just doesn’t capture my interest.  Well that was the case, until the past few weeks.
I have been following the Giants all season by way of twitter.  I like this cause it keeps me updated without having to watch/listen to the games.  As the season drew closer to playoffs I began to pay much closer attention to the games.  I now find that I have to watch and/or listen to the games.  This is so exciting!
But then there is the downside.  I don’t get why people have to be disrespectful.  I read an article that said the Giants don’t deserve to win because we aren’t “regular Joes,” our mayor’s name is Gavin Newsom which apparently is too refined, and blah blah blah blah blah… you get the picture.  Seriously!  This is baseball we are talking about!  It has nothing to do with politics.  Who cares if Nancy Pelosi is from SF?!   If you have to say stupid things like that I don’t think that you are a true fan of baseball.  In my opinion, true fans are respectful of both teams.  I know I’m biased and want the Giants to win the World Series, but I’m not going to be disrespectful of the Rangers (and their fans) to do it.  If you don’t like the Giants, please just be respectful and keep your mouth shut.  In turn, I will return the favor when you start talking about the Rangers, Lakers, Raiders, Chargers, etc.
lol… i totally agree…Some people have to bring politics into everything and that is just dumb… I enjoy baseball, especially the Giants

The Giants deserve to win for a number of reasons! And we’ve been waiting for this for a long time! With all our homegrown pitching and the offense we picked up…perfect combo and fun to watch! And Buster Posey? Wow, Rookie of the Year? Yes, I think so! =)
It’s been a crazy, fun season! Although I am a bit bummed they aren’t pitching Zito. I mean….I understand, but the way the offense has taken off lately, I think they should. He pitched great all year, it’s not his fault he got no offense. So to not get to play in the World Series…I hope he get a ring.

I don’t have the time to pay attention to every game. Twitter lets me know when and where the games are, periodic updates, and who wins. I don’t know if that makes be a “bandwagon fan” cause I follow them mostly thru twitter- but at least I follow them
lol nah a bandwagoner is someone who jumps on when they are doing well and jumps off when they aren’t.
oh and I guess Zito will get a ring anyways, yay, I was given misleading info
