$5 Footlongs
Yes that’s right, $5 footlongs are back.
¬† I know everybody loves it, but sometimes being in charge stinks.¬† Should I really have that much stress?¬† Last night wasn’t horrible… but it wasn’t a breeze either.¬† When I got there the back was a mess (as usual).¬† Only this time I had like no bread… and the bread wasn’t¬†thawed yet either.¬† Thankfully, the only bread I ran out of during the entire evening was Jalape√±o.
The best part about last night was the people I was working with.
… you have to love coworkers.
So. I was closing with a guy (the only boy that works at Subway… poor guy)¬† and he happens to be a shift lead too.¬† That being said, it is easy to work with him because he knows what needs to be done.¬† My third person was a girl who constantly seems to have an attitude.¬† I don’t think she likes it when I tell her what to do.¬† Well, the funny thing is that she REALLY likes the guy.
¬† No lie!¬† She came to work with her make-up all done!¬† She tries to act really sweet and flirt with him… while at the same time throwing attitude at customers and me!¬† The thing is that he has a girlfriend and he really can’t stand the coworker. Poor girl… she doesn’t even realize, but she tries so hard. After she left, I told him that she acts completely differently when he was there, and he just rolled his eyes and complained about her attitude.
Ok, like no bread, I guess I will have to forgive you for the use of “like” this once. You may hate $5 footlongs, but the rest of us love them
. Just think of it this way, you will probably see more of us, with this special going on.
First, I am a California girl and I can use “like” like whenever I want too.
Second, they didn’t leave me with “no bread” they left me with “like no bread”… there was a method to my madness. If it pleases you I can change it to say that they left me with “basically no bread”. But I like “like”.
What is wrong with the use of “like.” It makes perfect sense to normal people. Who creates grammar rules anyway??
lol. That’s so funny about your coworkers!
And what you texted me earlier today…that is definitely funny!
Aw, poor Fernando
