God,
Life
Sometimes I wonder what my friends are thinking. They make stupid choices and don’t realize the magnitude of thier decisions. I realize that I am not perfect either and that God is continually working in my life to make me more like Him. My heart aches when I contemplate the choices that some of my friends have made. What could I have done to help prevent their choices? Did I say enough? Did I say too much? Ultimately their life is theirs and they must live with the consequences of their descisions. I love my friends and I continually pray that they would seek God with all of their heart, soul, and mind. I pray that they might grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Furthermore, I pray that I might be the a friend that seeks God coninually and that I might act in accoradance to His divine will.

Asides
I promised that I would inform my readers of my school life (or at least my schedule) so let’s begin.
As I wrote a few weeks ago, I took The Life of Christ and have a paper due in March.
Monday morning from 7:30 to 10:30 I have History of Civ II with Pastor Dorsey. I have a paper due for this class.
Tuesday from 7:30-9:30 and from 10:30 -11:30 I have Physical Science with Pastor Dorsey. (9:30-10:30 is chapel). I’m supposed to have a paper… but he hasn’t told us about it yet.
Wednesday from 7:30-10:30 Doctrines IV with Pastor Dorsey; and 10:30-12:30 is Creation v. Evolution with Dr. Cantrell. We are theoretical going to have a paper for Doctrines… hopefully he will forget
. However, I do have a paper for Cantrell’s class.
Thursday from 7:30-8:30 I have Teaching Methods and Educational Psychology with Dr. Gordon. These two classes are directive study and I have approximately 7 projects for Methods and 4 for psychology. Three of each of the projects are book reports. Also on Thursday is chapel which is at the same time as it is on Tuesday.
Friday I get a break from my early classes and have no classes… it is so wonderful not to be up at 6a.m.

Life,
work
I know that you are probably tired of hearing about all the work drama in my life, but my story isn’t finished.
Let’s start on Wednesday - I begin to lose my voice.
Thursday I have the day off and spend the entire day trying not to talk… by the way it was very hard… I always have something to say to someone.
On Friday my voice is better, but wasn’t 100% so I called work a little before 9am to see if I could get out of work. Well, the manager was sick; one shift leader came in at 9; and the other one was suspended. So there I was working… without a voice. Thankfully I didn’t have to help that many customers.
Saturday morning I went to the OC to visit James and Renae. That evening (3pm) I got to work and there were two girls working. Soon after I was there one of them asked if she could go home (she was very sick). I told her to find someone to cover her shift seems how she was supposed to be there until 8. Well, no one could cover for her. The other girl left at 4 and couldn’t stay longer. My closer wasn’t getting in until 5 so I told the one girl to make it until 5 and then I would send her home. 5 o’clock came and I sent her home… leaving 2 people for the entire dinner rush. Thank God that it was a slow night. We not only got all of our work done, but all of her work too.
You would think that this would be enough of a story for one week… but its not… it never is.
Sunday: My voice was doing better… but still not perfect. I was scared of what choir would do to it so I chose not to sing in the morning service but when to evening practice anyways. Thankfully I am an alto so I had no problems with hitting those low notes… but my voice didn’t like the top half of the treble clef. Near the end of choir my phone vibrates and it says “Subway Pomona.” So I get up and answer the phone. Long story short – they needed me. I told them it would take me approximately 30 minutes to get there because I had to go to the dorm and get changed and then head back to Subway. On my way out of the Church parking lot I called the manager and told her that I was going in but that it would probably put me on overtime and that I wouldn’t get there for another 30 minutes cause I had to go change. She told me not to worry about changing and just go in as I was. *Let me remind you that I am in my church clothes… heals and all.* So I went straight to Subway. The time now is roughly 4:45 and there is a party order (3 large platters) due at 5 and only 1 platter was done, the front was a mess, there where a ton of customers, we were nearly out of bread, the shift lead is new to the position, one co-worker is new and the other one is just learning the cash register. Needless to say it was pretty crazy. I found an apron and got to work on the party platters. Just after 5 they were finished and given to the customer. Next to tackle were the mess and the bread. I’m sure that the customers thought that I was either someone important or a little crazy… I wasn’t in the uniform and I was in a skirt and heals! I was so glad that I grabbed a hair tie when I left the dorm that afternoon. By 6:15 everything was under control and in a manageable state so I left. I had completely missed church by now, but was able to go to the Harvey’s for the college activity.
Well, that was my life this week. I hope to one day write and say that nothing eventful happened at work… like that will ever happen. Also I do plan on blogging about school… we will see when I get to that.

Life,
work
So last week I went from 21 hours to 37 hours… and this week I am going from 29 hours to 39.5 hours. Yes that’s right. I am a full-time student who also works full-time. If people would stop getting into trouble at work maybe I can actually have a real day off and visit James and Renae.

Life
So its been a few weeks since I put up the post asking you to figure out which care-bear represented which girl in the dorm. Well here are may answers:
- Natalie = Grumpy Bear
- Monica = Cheer Bear
- Jireh= Oopsy Bear
- Hannah= Funshine Bear
- Me = Share Bear
So Hannah and I were at Target one day and saw a care bear puzzle… in it was grumpy bear, cheer bear, and share bear. It appeared that cheer bear and share bear where sort of giving grumpy bear a makeover… and well that is what we kind of did for the winter formal. Next Hannah and I spied a puzzle with all five care bears and we knew that it was an accurate perception of the girls dorm.
