Thanksgiving Some of you have been haseling me about my ‘Christmas wish list’… well I thought you migh want to know especially because tomorrow is Black Friday… but obviously some of you are not thankful for my wish list.
So, because of the responses I have gotten to my last post I am creating this post… “Things I am thankful for..”
Friends
- although they pick on me, what would life be like without them?  I thank God that He has given me friends who sharpen me like Iron sharpeneth iron
The Love of God
- Love: giving to meet needs with no¬†motive of reward¬† -”For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
Family
- God has blessed me with an amazing family!
My Job
- Wow!  I get the opportunity to be a light in a very dark world!
College
- It isn’t always easy, but God has taught me so much.¬† I’m so glad that I live in a generation that allows women to pursue education.
Celiac Disease
- It reminds me at every meal that God is the one who provides my “daily bread.”¬† Even when I get sick God teaches me that He is my strength and sufficiency
Unlimited Texting!!!
- Now Mom doesn’t get mad at me!
Things God has taught me
- They are too many to name, but His mercies are new every morning.
Today… and everyday that God gives me breath
- I can’t wait until I can spend eternity with Him, but while I have breathe I will praise him and thank him for today.

Christmas OKAY!  So it is the Thanksgiving and it is time for me to make my Christmas wish list so that all of my loved ones know what to get me 
My list isn’t extensive but I think that you can get lots of variety with it… I think…
- Barrettes
- Shirts (blouses and polo’s {size M} {any color})
- Sweaters (any color)
- Skirts (size 6)
- Jewelry (Earrings {not too dangly})
- Bath & Body Works (Japanese Cherry Blossom or Rain Kissed  Leaves)
- Yankee Candle (Tarts… any smell that you think is nice)

God Last week I had the opportunity to go to Ironwood for a conference on “Women Counseling Women” which was taught by Mrs. Pryde.  One day during a break I was in Uncle Wally’s and found a devotional book called My Biography of God.  It looked like it had a really good setup for devotions so I bought it.  Each week I am going through a passage of scripture and learning about God.  This week I am in Psalm 23.  Do you know how many direct references there are to God in that short chapter?  
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.  He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.  He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the pasts of righteousness for his name’s sake.  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou annointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Asides Wow!¬† I can’t believe that the semester is almost over!¬† I have no idea where the time has gone.¬† I only have 10 more days of school left before I get to go on Christmas Break!¬† I’m not really stressed out over finals or projects… it‚Äôs been an easy years as far as my classes are concerned.
I am still working at Subway.¬† I’ve been there since Feb 2007 but I took this past summer off because I went home.¬† I enjoy working there.¬† I have had several opportunities to be a light in my coworkers’ very dark world.
I’m looking forward to Christmas Break when I get to see all of my family.
Well, I guess that is all for now.
